YTA Kids

Thank You SO Much!!

The 22nd annual “For the Kids” dinner was a resounding success!  With over 175 people in attendance our guests enjoyed every minute.  There was a chance to mix and mingle before dinner and several of our students were circulating among the crowd selling raffle tickets.  The guests really enjoy this opportunity to speak with our students first hand. CiCi Bellis joined us during dinner to talk about her experiences on the tennis circuit.  She was delightful.  Peter Wright served as our Master of Ceremonies and led a spirited Live Auction with the top prize of two tickets to the US Open and a condo in Manhattan going for $10,000.  Our Arthur Ashe Award of Excellence was presented to Bay Clubs SF Tennis with Gordon Collins, James Lent and Weston Reese on hand to accept this. Two of our students spoke about what YTA means to them.  This is always a highlight of the evening.  When all was said and done our dinner raised over $290,000 for YTA.  Congrats to everyone!

Azaria All Star!!

Azaria Hayes is on the rise! This talented and ambitious young lady is seen here with her 1st place trophy for the girls 16U Open in Northern California. She has been competing in her new age group for only a few months and is already blowing away the competition.

Just as important to Azaria as her tennis game are her studies, Azaria earned a 4.0 GPA at the end of her 8th grade year and was given high accolades by her teachers for her dedication to her studies, but also her kind and generous nature. Azaria displays courteous sportsmanship and strong leadership skills on and off the court.

Azaria is on her way to the National Clay Court Championship in Plantation, FL, July 10th. Good Luck at Nationals Azaria! You're Amazing!
